About us – Jocke & Malin Ljungberg
We, Jocke and Malin Ljungberg, are a married couple who have lived for nearly ten years in the picturesque Gnisvärd – a decision that has shaped both our lives and our passion project.
Here, close to the sea and nature, we found the place to put down roots and create something of our own. Sommarladan is part of our home (though separate and with plenty of privacy) – and part of an old farm, one of the oldest in the area.
Jocke works as a consultant in solar energy, combining his commitment to the environment with technical expertise. He is also a radio host and DJ – bringing energy, knowledge and personality.
Malin has a background in business and now works as an administrator in a public sector organisation – a role that demands structure and precision. She speaks Swedish, English and understands German. Jocke speaks Swedish and English.
Together we have made SOMMARLADAN what it is today – a place we are very proud of.
With plenty of time, love and heart, we have created a warm and personal environment where both adults and children can feel at home. As guests, you have access to a private property with your own entrance and plenty of space for play, relaxation and socialising – this was particularly important to us to create a relaxed and free atmosphere. Rambo, our little Jack Russell, also lives here – he stays on the neighbouring property behind a fence. He mostly keeps to himself but can sometimes be spotted from a distance. 🐾
SOMMARLADAN itself is, of course, completely pet-free.
Over the years we have welcomed many guests back time and again – the best compliment we could receive.
Good to know: Malin speaks Swedish, English and understands German, and Jocke speaks Swedish and English.
